June 25, 2013 -- The Supreme Court of the United States of America has adjudicated the end of the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act fiving federal recognition to married same-sex couples.  At the same time, they have ruled that the plaintifs in the California Prop 8 case have no legal standing.  The war isn't over but these are major battles and we've won!
